John Lennon and George Harrison made a surprise appearance at a reception for area Beatle fan club secretaries, where an unreleased film of Magical Mystery Tour was screened, 17 December 1967.
In an act of appreciation for their fans, John and George personally signed autographs, took pictures, and spent time talking with secretaries. Everyone in attendance received a copy of the 1967 Fan Club Christmas Album along with the Magical Mystery Tour EP.
